Brent was extra cute all day today. He's so smiley and talkative, Ryan is a little concerned he's taking after Uncle Drew in this area. He even decided not to take his afternoon nap and still managed to be a sweetie until bedtime (8 pm). He's VERY busy these days - crawls all over the house, opens any doors and drawers that he can get his hands on. He LOVES Bowzer. Brent makes a beeline for him at every opportunity. We've been Brent-proofing as he discovers new trouble to get into. His latest trick is to give a high five and "grrr" like his dad. He really loves reading his books, he will dig head first into his toy box, pull out a book, and sit down to turn the pages. He's also a good eater (I hear this changes as they get older). His favorite foods are: sweet potatoes, carrots, chicken, pasta with red sauce, lentils, yogurt, applesauce, bananas, cheese, and especially cheerios.... He also likes broccoli, spinach, and peas but I can't imagine they are his favorite. I'm making all of his food, just the applesauce and pasta sauce has been jarred. I just figure that if I cook for Ryan and I, why wouldn't I cook for him too? He is drinking less milk everyday so keeping up with his appetite hasn't been a problem.
