The rest of Brent's summer

A few highlights of the end of Brent's summer:

- After Tahoe he stuck with one nap a day. He usually sleeps 1-4 pm.

- He stopped nursing at the beginning of August. This was a huge relief for the momma.

- Went to San Diego for Dylan's birthday party. Had tons of fun running around Funbelievable.

- Stopped using a bottle

- Loves running in the shallow end of the pool, climbing out, then splashing in the wading pool

- Says "NO" very loud & clear. No other discernible words other than mama & dada. Everything is called "da."

- added sound effects when he takes a big bite "Aaaahhhmm" 

First trip without Brent

Ryan and I went to LA this weekend to visit Courtney and Andre. Brent and the dogs went to the ranch with Grandma & Grandpa. It was amazing not having a toddler tied to us! We ate at kid-UNfriendly restaurants, went to bars, and drove around without a carseat and stroller. Brent left with my parents on Friday at 1:00 and doesn't come home until Monday evening. They will be exhausted!
